10 years CHRONEXT: A decade of timeless style and exceptional service

CHRONEXT was founded in February 2013 by former roommates Philipp Man and Ludwig Wurlitzer. In their flat in West London, the then 22- and 23-year-old students drew up the first business plans for revolutionizing luxury watch trading and founded CHRONEXT AG shortly afterwards. 

Instead of relying on the classic jeweller or second-hand market, as it had been the case in the past, they wanted to create a platform where watch lovers could easily obtain high-quality timepieces. No sooner said than done: shortly after its founding, CHRONEXT was able to record its first successes and establish itself as one of the most important online retailers for luxury watches.

With the help of an amazing team, CHRONEXT can look back on 10 years of impressive success. The first German office was opened in 2014 and was initially based in Cologne’s Mülheim with 20 team members. As we continued to expand and gain more recognition, the team grew and we relocated to a more spacious and modern office in Cologne Ehrenfeld in July 2016, which has since become the heart of our operations.

Since the move seven years ago, CHRONEXT has experienced significant growth and has successfully attracted watch enthusiasts from all around the globe.
